VIN DE PAYS DU MONT BAUDILE WHITE

 

GRAPE VARIETIES :

Ugni blanc 33.3% Grenache blanc 33.3 %, Chardonnay 33.3%.

 

LAND :

The Chardonnay and Ugni-blanc grapes grow in white shaley clay, whilst the Grenache blanc springs from land largely consisting of shingle and round pebbles.

 

VINIFICATION :

90% of the casks or tuns in which the lightly crushed grapes are placed during the fermentation process are not new.

 

MATURING :

The wine matures in barrels or tuns for 12 months during its malolactic fermentation. It is not filtered.

 

TASTING :

There are pronounced aromas of yellow peaches, apricots and aniseed.

 

GASTRONOMIC SOULMATES :

Just made for fish in sauces, white meat, blanquette of veal, or for a real treat, drink it with artichokes or green asparagus.
